Hi, I am Lakshmi Krishnamoorthy,
Wellbeing Coach & Mindfulness Teacher.

I coach women to become their best versions and live a life they will love and thrive.

My approach is holistic, person-centered coaching conducted with great compassion. 

At the heart of my coaching practice is Mindfulness.

Life isn't just about living;  it's about thriving at your best and finding joy in every moment.

Through my life experience I have learnt that achieving our personal and professional aspirations at the cost of our health and happiness is not worth it.

I will be your supportive mentor and wellness authority, guide you through Duke’s coaching process created out of years of research and clinical experience, help you make sustainable and transformational behavior changes that are the foundation for a lifetime of health and well-being.

My Story

Growing up in a South Indian family where excellence in academics and arts was non-negotiable, I’ve always been a curious learner—first drawn to technology, and now to technologies that enhance our well-being.

I have had good success in my personal and professional life, yet something was always pulling me down internally. My mid 30s was quite challenging with me handling my chronic back pain triggered out of long sitting hours in wrong posture. (wake up call to all IT Professionals who don’t take break once in 30 minutes while working :)

In my 40s pandemic added more mental chaos within me. 

I managed to navigate through them with the help of yoga and workplace well-being programs.

Post pandemic, I felt an intense need to find a solution for leading a more meaningful life, especially one marked by mental calmness and clarity. 

That search led me to Duke’s Health and Wellbeing Coaching Course.

This program gave me a fresh perspective on well-being, helping me realize that true wellbeing goes beyond just physical and mental health. I learnt the components of holistic wellbeing, the neuroscience behind behavioral change, and the core motivation required to live a healthy lifestyle. Gradually, I designed a personalized path for well-being for myself and my family that worked like a wonder.

As I was working on this, I was deeply intrigued by mindfulness.

Although I had been practicing yoga and meditation for nearly a decade, I was curious to explore how the West understood and applied these practices. 

The MIEA Mindfulness program opened up a whole new world for me. 

The research-based sessions and the intense silent retreat helped me calm the storm within and better manage the storms outside.

Initially, I shared my insights only with friends and family. Seeing the transformation in them and the positive impact it had on their lives, I decided to pursue this professionally.

I felt a strong calling to share these practices with every woman, empowering them to lead pain-free, peaceful lives. I'm now here to help women embrace their unique talents and passions, achieve success, and create a positive impact in their communities and beyond—all while staying true to nurturing their well-being.
